This work was created for an NJCL writing contest, and focuses on the concept of modern technology being placed in the ancient world. It explores themes of prophecy and devotion in the Temple of Apollo.

Why do we pronounce woman as "wu-mun" but pronounce women as "wi-min"? The answer lies in what I like to call "The Case of the Shifting Vowel."

I think it's worth remembering this when handing someone a present.
